HFC Mono Block

HFC Mono Block

SANYO’s next generation of HFC mono block system have
been designed to operate with COP up to 5.0 throughout
the range*. The systems include water heat exchanger and
pump located within the outdoor unit, thus enabling the system
to be directly connected to its affiliated heat system. Additional
flexibility can be gained introducing 1 or 2 zone options as
well as DHW functions to enable the system to work with
most applications.

Features

• Capacity range 5 – 24 kW

• Easy to install

• Simple easy to use controls

• Optimised flow temperaturesHFC Mono Block

• Integral water pump (fitted within the outdoor unit)

• Connects to up to 2 zones and DHW

• Boiler backup function

*conditions rated at EN14511

The new HFC mono block system has been designed to achieve
high performance levels for both heating and cooling whilst
ensuring that running costs are kept to a minimum. The system
offers a COP 5.0 throughout the range* which makes it one of
the most efficient air source heat pumps in the market.

The unit is designed for easy installation as it is directly connected
to a heating system via water pipe work. The water heat exchanger,
electric heaters, and pump are mounted within the unit outdoors
which eliminates the need for an indoor unit, therefore saving
space indoors. The system uses a non-ozone depleting R410A
refrigerant, which gives increased system performance and
efficiency throughout the system operating temperature range
of -16oC to +35oC.

The outdoor unit uses the same DC inverter technology as the
split HFC model which reduces operating and starting current to
a minimum and is constructed to the same exacting standards to
ensure a long trouble free working life. Maintenance of the system
has also been simplified to ensure the minimum interruption
whilst the system is working.

As with the split option the system can be connected to various
systems using our one / two zone control package enabling under
floor heating, fan coils, and medium temperature radiators to be
used. The unit can also be connected to an accessory domestic
hot water tank.

HFC Split

HFC Split

SANYO HFC split air to water heat pump with its high efficiency compressor and heat exchangers can offer COP around 4.0 throughout the range*. The systems offer the ability to locate the indoor heat exchanger remotely to the outdoor unit enabling the installation to be simple and unobtrusive. The outdoor unit can be located up to 30 meters away from the indoor unit. The system can also provide hot water via an optional DHW tank and boiler backup function.

 Features

• Capacity range 5 – 24 kW

• Easy to install (refrigerant engineer required)

• Simple, easy to use controls

• Optimised flow temperaturesHFC Split

• Integral water pump (fitted within the indoor heat exchanger)

• Connects to up to 2 zones and DHW

• Boiler backup function

*conditions rated at EN14511

This system type is ideally suited for applications where space
outside is at a premium or the location of the unit must be
remote from the building. The system is connected to the
indoor unit by means of 2 refrigerant small diameter pipes;
the units can be as far apart as 30 meters from each other.

The system uses a non-ozone depleting R410A refrigerant,
which gives increased system performance and efficiency
throughout the system operating temperature range of
-16°C to +35°C.

To ensure efficiency the compressor is driven by DC inverter
technology which not only reduces running costs it also stops
high instantaneous staring currents. Typically the system will
only draw up to 2 amps when starting. The outdoor units are
available in both three and single phase.

Both the outdoor and indoor units are constructed of high
quality treated steel enclosures, this coupled with high
efficiency air and water heat exchangers will ensure a
long and trouble free operating life from the system.

The indoor unit includes a plate heat exchanger matched to
an integral water pump with backup electric water heaters.
The system is controlled by a remote wall mounted room
controller which sends information to the indoor unit.
There are several options available to allow the system to
work with 1 and 2 zone applications using under floor heating
systems, fan coils, and medium temperature radiators as
well as a domestic hot water system when using the DHW
accessory.

VRF Water Heat Exchanger

Both Heat recovery and Heat pump version of our very efficient
VRF systems have been among the market leaders since the
90‘s. Now the latest generation of air to water heat exchanger
can be integrated within a VRF system. This allows the heat
gathered from within a building‘s infrastructure to be collected
and kept within a thermal store, ready for use as hot water
for DHW or other areas of a building that require heating.

Features

• Matches to both heat pump and heat recovery systems

• Water temperatures up to 45°C

• Very efficient with COPs up to 7.0**

• Easy to install acts as an indoor unit within system

** estimated COP on a 3 way VRF system when operated in mixed mode operation

VRF Water Heat Exchanger

With SANYO’s continuous innovation and development
we have been able to integrate complex systems within a
building’s heating and cooling system in the most efficient way.

The new VRF hydro system has been ideally positioned for
all commercial spaces. This new energy efficient solution
can provide domestic hot water and heating solutions for
wash rooms, kitchens, meeting rooms etc.

In recent times the primary function of the VRF heat recovery
system has been to extract heat from areas of a building being
cooled and re-distribute and recycle this heat for re-use in other
parts of the building with a heating requirement, often as a
result of building orientation and diversity.

However, if more heat is extracted than can be effectively
re-used this surplus heat is generally lost to the atmosphere
at the VRF outdoor unit and consequently the recovered
energy is wasted.

By using the SANYO VRF hydro solution the excess heat can
be successfully used as renewable heat for the generation and
storage of domestic hot water as well as for heating, via under
floor circuits, fan coil units and low temperature radiators.

The combination of the VRF system and the hydro module
means that heat can be recovered and reused, which ensures
less energy wastage resulting in greater energy efficiency,
reduced running costs and a reduction in carbon emissions.

The advantage of combining a VRF system with a hot water
supply from a single system means that the system is suitable
for a range of applications. Offices, restaurants, hotels and
gyms, are clear examples of locations that already have an
air conditioning system in place. Providing hot water supply
to these applications is a simple addition of the booster unit
to the existing air conditioning systems.

It is a perfect solution that prevents inconveniences that
arise when installing gas boilers, meter installations and
maintenance costs, as well as benefiting from reduced running
costs and reduced carbon emissions due to the high efficiency
of the VRF hydro in comparison to a gas boiler.

SANYO… the choice is yours…
